Edlinger T2X Telemark Boots - Ladies
Brand : EdlingerItem : BLD0773
Scarpa improved upon the design of one of the most popular tele boots on the market with the T2X Women's Telemark Ski Boot. This new design has the same flex that we all loved in the T2 but is upgraded with an asymmetric dual-density cuff for more power and control when the fluff gives way to heavy gnar. The women's-specific last and narrow-heel profile are combined with the thermo-moldable liner to create the perfect fit for your feet. You'll no longer need to compensate for two inches of heel lift when you're touring through the backcountry. Buckles on the T2X are re-positioned to reduce pressure on your instep and Scarpa added a replaceable scuff guard in-front of the lower buckle to increase durability.

Edlinger T2X Telemark Boots - Ladies
Women's Scarpa T2X Telemark Boots
So far, so good with the Scarpa T2X boots. The one great selling point about them is that as far as I can tell, they are the only tele boot that is made small enough for my foot (size 6.5 women’s). Garmont doesn't make them that small. Also, I went from what I think was the worst liner (old lace up T2s) to what is apparently the best, so even though I only have been on them two days, they were two very happy for my feet. I had gotten frostbite earlier this season, so I really appreciate the moldable liners, and although I haven't been in them much yet, my toes haven't gotten cold at all, which is a big step forward for me. Finally, my one word of caution is that if you haven't had moldable liners before, buy boots that you think will be too small. It's amazing how much room you get in the toe bed once they heat them up and fit them. A boot fitter would likely say mine are slightly big, but given my frostbite issue, I chose to go that way. If you don't have feet issues, I would go with the boot fitter's advice.
these work like a dream
I learned how to tele on Garmonts that didn't fit well at all and lost toenails every season. I had tried on the Garmont Venus, and had someone who knew how to fit teleboots helping out. I could not get these boots to fit comfortably at all. I think I can't wear Garmonts because I have a narrower foot. Then I tried on these Scarpas, walked around the store for about 20 minutes to confirm they were comfortable and fell in love with them. And then when I took them out, they were amazingly good—very responsive and found it was a lot easier to make very quick turns.
I love these boots
I'm never taking them off, I'm going to sleep in them. I recently purchased these boots and was really unsure of the sizing. Luckily, I have pretty narrow feet which fit well in these boots. According to the sizing chart, I wear a 23.0, a solid size 7. My actual measurement is 23.5. All my friends suggested I go for the snuggest fit possible as the liners will expand. I learned that the boot shell for 23.0 & 23.5 were the same size. I went with size 23.0 In trying these on, I wore the thinest sock possible without the provided footbed. My toes were touching (but not cramped) a bit in the front of the liner. I wore them around the house for a couple of days before I got them heat molded. This made all the difference in the world. I've only skied on them once but they already feel like part of my foot. The comfort and performance of this boot is unmatched.
