Black Diamond GTX System Tour Glove

Excellent glove
These gloves are very well made and provide excellent warmth and dexterity. It's also nice to have the inner/outer glove system, which makes the gloves more versatile and makes drying faster and more complete. The only downside, which is very slight, is that you can't really put the inner and outer glove on at the same time -- you have to put the inner on first and then put the outer on over it; same with taking them off.

Nice gloves but poor quality
First pair I received had a hole in the liner. These were quickly replaced but after 7 days skiing a hole appeared in the liner where the stitching split and the cuff draw-string tightener disconnected from the shell. Shame because these were nice gloves, but unacceptable quality.

Georgian Bay in winter
I picked up these gloves from BC after my first new pair were pinched by an AC baggage handler. Took them on a winter camping trip in Northern Ontario to use on day trips and when dexterity was key. My thought was that I'd use my surplus OPP cold weather mitts when the going really got cold. Well after several days at -22C and then some, I never had cause to pull out the mitts. These gloves met and surpassed my expectations! A++. Can't wait to try them while skiiing!

gloves
These gloves work great. The liner is not attached to the shell and I was kind of disapointed about this at first and still worry about losing a liner. But the fact that you can remove the shell without the liner makes for a warmer phone call on the lift. the shell is nice and flexable over all I 'd recomed these for everyday use.

I liked these gloves, but they kept falling apart
First pair I ordered arrived with a hole in the inner glove where the stiching had come apart. Second pair I ordered were good and used them for 7 days, but the inner glove stiching started to come apart in a similar way to the first pair. Also the cuff tightener string disconnected from the main part of the glove, making it very hard to pull the cuff tight. The gloves were great, while they lasted. Also Backcountry.com processed the return and refund very efficiently. Would definitely buy from Backcountry again, but gave up disappointed on these gloves.
