Burton Team Skyback

Wait a Year....
The Team Skyback delivers the power that it advertises and provides support to your lower legs(+4...my heel edge dug into that nasty New England halfpipe ice allowing me to throw method airs for the on looking plaid-flannel wearing gapers) The Skyback was tainted by poor design, the padding they use on the Skyback is already peeling after two afternoon riding sessions(-2...couldn’t believe my eyes) This is one of those products that will be better to buy after a couple years, allowing Burton to fix the 'minor' flaws in their design(+2 for idea, maybe use the money they made from this round and hire a new innovative design team, provide them with some Starbucks, and research a new foamy material that doesn’t rip or peel so easy. I miss my scruffy CFX backings.) They should also include the hardware necessary to install them on your bindings (-2 for being cheap but +1 for a helpful spare parts customer service rep.) Rating: 3, if you have the cash and buy new products each year buy this product now, but please make this worth my money next year (because I do in fact appreciate and enjoy your products), or maybe reconsider the price.

Burton Team Skyback
The Team Skyback is money. I put them on a pair of 2005 C60s. I wasn't a big fan of the Carbon highback. I ride Cartels on my Jibstick, and the C60's with the Team Skyback are super responsive. Just what I need on my pow deck.

Team Skybacks for resposive freeriding...
I already have a pair of Burton C60's and found the composite high backs to be too stiff for riding powder. Instead of buying a new pair of bindings, I just swapped the high backs with a pair of Team Skybacks onto my C60 baseplates. They make freeriding in pow super fun. The tallness of the Skyback makes them super responsive carving in fluff and the medium flex keeps my leg muscles from burning. Pop of the locking flad to make them lighter.

Great Product
For some reason I prefer these over the carbons as they are just more comfortable for me. Provide the support and control you need without the hassle.
