Burton Air Snowboard
Brand : BurtonItem : BUR1156
The Burton Air Snowboard is a freestyle classic for a reason. Come to think of it, with a forgiving flex, turn-on-a-dime maneuverability, and high-speed stability, this ride is legendary for many reasons. Powderhounds and park rats benefit from the Super Fly wood core's low swing weight, the precision handling of Dualzone EGD construction, and the speed of a sintered base. The Air Snowboard's directional shape has a dialed flex that powers through sketchy terrain and floats like a champ in deep snow. Burton used Triax response fiberglass for powerful pop and constructed the Air with a lengthened tail to help you dial your switch landings. Unfortunately, we can't control the color you receive. But they're all pretty sick so we know you'll be stoked. *Available for US Shipment Only.

Burton Air Snowboard
Still cutting pizza on East Coast Ice.
I went snowboarding in the NC mountains this past Thursday to set up my board for my trip to Whistler in January. The mountain was ridiculous, nothing but an inch of solid ice. My Boy dislocated his arm going down the mountain. I also watched a girl fly off the side of the trail, but my Air was still cutting into the Ice nicely. Thanks to my new Air a trip that could have turned out completely pointless helped me step up my bindings and laugh a whole bunch of times.
Burton Air
This board carves! Damn, it holds its edge in everything I've come across, and the flex is great. Definitely recommend it for any level rider.
Blown Away
This board is everything a freestyle board should be - it lets me fly down the trail, carve through the woods and still hit up the park with no problem. Oh yeah, and it was relatively cheaper then similar boards I looked at. This board is a prime example of why I love Burton.
Good for ICE - not for POWDER.......
Just took this board (161) for it's first run in powder. Did not handle to well compared with my old shorter 157, which was disappointing. Description used words like "Powderhounds" and "floats like a champ in deep snow", not in my experience Preforms good on ice though.
New board, with an old ride
Are you a fan of the Burton custom board from a few years back? If you are a fan of the more playful, softer custom board than you are in luck. Burton decided to ramp up its board the Custom to be a truer little to the Custom X. They took the original Burton Custom shape and core and renamed it the Burton Air. This board will feel and ride just like your old custom. Great for riding anywhere on the mountain that you want to go. If you are looking for a more playful, fun board to ride the entire mountain you will enjoy this board.
