Care for a drink?
Even with the lousy winter in the East I've had a chance to use my new Camelbak SnoBowl several times. So far it's been great; easy to fill, easy to use, and doesn't interfere with skiing or riding lifts. I hang my little magnavox radio on the front strap which reduces clutter in my pockets. I'm only using it for water so I don't have to clean it out so often. Drinking while you ski really helps.


Winterized Camel Back works flawlessly
VERY impressed so far with product. Minimal on your back. Fits under Jacket EASILY and is barely visible unless I'm hunching over completely. Ease of use is high. The "on/off" switch in the mouthpiece is as perfect a fix for 'frozen mouthpiece syndrome' that I can think of. and it works perfectly. Sip and then hold the hose above the bag (up over your shoulders), pinch the hose open, and the fluid drains out of the rubber tip, past the valve--- thus eliminating the risk of fluid freezing up in the mouthpiece. As if that weren't enough protection, the hose goes in an insulated zipper enclosure in the shoulder strap, as well the hose is neoprene insulated. WOW this sucker works in COLD A$$ weather. Vermont -10 at the summit of Jay Peak, winds at 40mph (you do the mat on windchill)---- NEVER frozen was my Camelback. Use electrolyte Gatorade or Powerade and the freezing point becomes even lower of the fluid in your pack. Wear it under you jacket where its warm and you'll be annoyed that your fluid isn't cold enough to quench a serious snow boarder thirst. For the money this pack simply CANNOT be beat in my opinion. I've used others costing as much w/out the cold protection and they're frozen in minutes in higher temps then mentioned above.
