Therm-a-Rest Dream Time Sleeping Pad

Brand : Therm-a-Rest
Item : CAS0244

Therm-a-Rest claims the three-inch thick DreamTime sleeping pad is the most luxurious camping mattress ever made, and we happily agree. When you never carry your mattress more than the distance from your car to the tent, there's no reason to worry about weight—and every reason to make your base camp or car camping trip as comfortable as possible. A cushy foam pillow-top adds decadent comfort, while a removable stretch-fleece lining on top makes the DreamTime plush to the touch. Add in the most-durable nonslip bottom ever, and you've got a super warm, super comfortable sleeping pad that'll last the years. Grab an extra DreamTime for your partner—the included pad connectors will easily turn two mattresses into a queen-size camp bed. Pair it up with a Camp & Comfort Stuff Sack for protection and portability.

Therm-a-Rest Dream Time Sleeping Pad

Dream time is a BIG disappointment
This is what you get for $200. 1) A Base Camp Thermarest quality pad, worth $90. 2) A 2 inch layer of removable foam, worth $5 3) Both of these items enclosed in a cover that has a zipper with fleece on the top side and a non-slip bottom. Thank goodness the item was returnable.

Most Comfy Pad Ever!!
I absolutely love my new Thermarest Dreamtime pad! Unlike the previous post I looked into what the pad consisted of. It has a Mega Rest 2" pad and a layer of posterpedic foam that apparently is very expensive to give it a super nice pillow softness. I sleep on it every night and have never been more comfortable. It is the best car camping type pad money can buy. Highly recommended!

Therm-A-Rest Dream Time Sleeping Pad
These sleeping pads work excellent. I used them for the first time last week. The pads worked excellent at different temps. Our temperatures ranged from 30 degrees to 60 degrees. Each pad has ties or straps on the side of the pad in order to secure them together for a queen sized pad. It also has 2 vents for allowing air in and out. The only disadvantage is that it's so big when rolled up 10"X32", but if you're car camping it's no big thing. I never touched the ground when sleeping on it. Overall outstanding.

Very Comfortable...and...a bit pricey!
I usually bring a 4 inch foam pad and a futon with me on car camping trips. Since this was too much to include in my luggage on Southwest airlines, I ordered a Thermarest Dream Time pad, which I was able to squeeze into a duffle bag along with my tent. I used the Dream Time pad every night for a week on this trip. It was every bit as comfortable as the foam pad / futon combination that I usually sleep on. My only complaint is that a stuff sack was not included in the still expensive sales price of $169. It seems rather greedy to charge an additional fee for a stuff sack! Other than the price issue, the service from BackCountry.com was superb.

Great item
I use this pad in addition to a 1-inch thick pad inside a camping trailer I pull behind my motorcycle. It's really great. I like that it has a soft covering, and a foam pad in addition to the air bladder. They were even out of stock, and let me know that they would be a couple of months, but honored the sale price - a raincheck I guess - and that was awesome. This is a reliable and honorable internet business.
