The CAMP High Star Climbing Helmet is built around simplicity and speed. The High Star uses a basic, durable polyethylene HD shell mated to a nylon inner structure without uncomfortable rivets. A simple chin+ears strap adjustment system has few moving parts and just plain works. A Dri-lex headband won't get all nasty when you're sweating out on a face. The High Star has ventilation holes prevent turning your helmet into an oven.

Good Replacement
I bought this helmet as a replacement for a HB El Cap Helmet that was stolen out of my rig after a SAR training mission. The rim is good for keeping rain off and my headlamp fits well on it, but it is no El Cap. Suspension is a little lacking and an impact from on the top might be interesting but all in all a good cheaper replacement.

the best ever helmet that i had in my life. extremely durable, got hit in the head with aprox 2 pound falling rock and all that did is a scratch, and of course I did not even feel it! very versatile too!
