The Columbia Men's Titanium Thresher Interchange Sandal is a versatile sandal for the watersport enthusiast. The fully adjustable Titanium Thresher is constructed with a water-repellant quick-dry upper making it ideal for activities in and out of the water. The lightweight EVA footbed and midsole provide a comfortable flex and the raised sidewalls increase stability. Columbia added a sticky PU cover with an odor-controlling antimicrobial treatment to the Thresher's footbed for enhanced slip resistance and water dispersion. The non-marking Vibram rubber outsole ensures first-rate traction on wet or dry surfaces.

Titanium Sandal
I got these as a replacement for a tired pair of the excellent Columbia interchange II sandals, now sadly unavailable in New Zealand. The New Titanium Sandals have some neat features, including the very simple conversion to a slide: good to get from the tent to the showers on a frosty morning without mucking about with hool-and-loop closure and straps. I have used mine in a kayak, for Wading and fishing in mountain streams and as light hiking sandals - and they a have proved excellent for all these purposes. I also really like the slightly raised Vibram stop on the front edge - no more stubbed toes now! The straps are thinner and more flimsy looking than the previous model, Which may be a weak point in the long term; but otherwise these have done the job well for me.

I have only had the sandals about two months and I really like them. I bought them to take to the lake because they are waterproof. They are very durable, but yet also very comfortable. Slightly higher priced for sandals. But you get what you pay for, and I think they are worth every penny.
