I highly recommend this boot
I recently purchased these for a yearly hiking trip with my son to Moab. They required some breaking in, but what strong performing boots don't require it. In the past, I have come back from our trip with little to no tread left on my hikers; this Vibram sole held up great, and I maintained traction even on the smooth surfaces. Roller ball lacing helped to adjust pressure points and the Gore-Tex membrane kept my feet warm and dry. The fit is dialed in, so no hot spots. My best purchase yet!
great boots....
These are great...waterproof, tough hiking boots. The week I got them I wore them around the house to break them in...and after only 4 days of having them, I went on a 4- day trek/camping trip in the mountains. They were great. Excellent traction, waterproof, great ankle support...and the lace spinners are great for easy on/off. gGreat boots, great price!

When choosing a hiking boot I have always been drawn to a full-grain leather hiker. The Diablo Pass fits the bill. It looks great and fits well too. The roller ball lacing makes getting the boot on and off a breeze. Plus, having a Vibram outsole and Gore-Tex waterproof membrane I know that it is going to hold up and take care of my feet. This boot did take some breaking in, but once broke in they are probably the most comfortable hiking boots that I have ever owned.
