Columbia Bridgeport Short - Women's



Nice shorts, but large waist
As with the Columbia Royal Trek short, I really liked the look and features of the Bridgeport, but was disappointed with the really large waist. For both models, unless I were to wear a belt (which is not conducive to hiking & other outdoor sports), the non-adjustable waistband was a couple inches too large, and stuck out in the back. I had to return them, but found a good replacement in the Columbia Silver Ridge shorts, which feature a toggle/drawstring waistband.

Finally the hiking short I've been waiting to find!! The longer length is great for serious hiking and the cargo pockets are great along with the 4 other pockets. It's the perfect hiking short for me . I bought one in each color!! It is the perfect short for the serious hiker.
