CW-X Insulator Expert Tights - Women's

Best gear purchase in a long time!
I'm currently training for the Boston Marathon and so I’m running a lot more hills. I have to say that I did not think these CW-X were anything more than superhero looking tights and only bought my first pair because I got it on sale. However, I love it! I was able to notice a difference in not just much less muscle fatigue but also it does help me keep my form much more than ordinary running tights. Prior to this (like most runners) I was just wearing your standard black running tights and was not aware of the difference in muscle fatigue until I got my CW-X insulator tights. Bottom line, I highly recommend it. FYI, I think this insulator version is best worn when it is about 50'F or less. I think anything more than 60'F and it is probably going to be too warm for you.

CW-X Tights Rule!
A good friend of mine recommended these to me after I had surgery on my knee. These have to be some of the best insulator tights I have. This was a great investment for me and my knee. I wear them skiing pretty much every day, the construction and design of the knees in this tight are key. My knee feels really stable. Just that extra stability keep me confident out there skiing—I used to wear just a long underwear layer. These are also great for working out in the cold and a perfect layer underneath ski pants. Very much worth the money!!

ingenious fabric
I recently purchased a pair of CW-X insulator expert tights and I must admit I'm impressed. Not only do they provide support to muscles and joints through the use of their patented conditioning web, but the fabric itself is very technical. When reading the words "temperature regulating" I didn't understand fully until I used the product. Not only does this product prevent me from getting cold when I'm running in the morning, it also doesn't make me feel too hot after my body warms up from running. It virtually eliminated the peaks and valleys I used to experience from first stepping out into the cold, then warming up from running, then cooling down as I walked outside to slow my heart rate down. Instead of all that I pretty much felt the same temperature the entire time I had the product on. Truly amazing! It also pulled the sweat right off my skin to the outside of the fabric so when I took them off, my body felt very dry and I didn't have that unbeatable urge to jump in the shower the second I finished my run. CW-X and these insulator expert tights are great. Hopefully they'll make a Pro version of these, as I prefer the support offered by the Pro tight when running.

What a find!!
Just like the reviews I read before I bought these tights, they were all I had hoped for and more. While my knee still required management in order to ski hard, I credit my ability to even be on the slopes to the assistance provided by the tights. Not only that, I did not have ANY soreness of calves or glutes or quads. Now I know this is not entirely because of the tights, and I had to be in reasonable shape for this to happen, but I have been in better shape when skiing in the past and had much soreness from using unfamiliar muscles. So....was it the tights? I certainly know I will not ski without them again!! Well worth the investment in my opinion!!

Best base layer for skiing.
I ski and train instructor staff in the Pacific Northwest 3-5 times per week. Our unpredictable weather covers the entire range. The CWX insulator tights are perfect in every way as a base layer for skiing. The description by the manufacturer of the functional properties is accurate. I have tried every clothing option on the market to keep me warm and the insulator tights and top are the best by far. They are all I use now as a base layer and highly recommend them.
