It's no secret that comfortable riders are better riders. With that in mind, DC pulled out all the stops with the Men's Allegiance Snowboard Boot. They constructed this stiff all-mountain boot with waterproof synthetic leather uppers that tighten with the brand new BOA Focus System. This setup one-ups standard BOA lacing by giving you two tightening zones to distribute upper and lower pressure evenly, creating more heel hold-down than typical boots. Pair this dial-operated lacing system with the pump-up air liner, and you have the recipe for a rider-specific fit. A release valve on the outside of the liner allows you to adjust the pressure easily. For the Allegiance Boots' sole, DC took a cue from their skate shoes. The “pill” pattern grips your board tightly on those hairpin turns and laughs at wear and tear. A gel toe pad takes the shock out of hard landings, and DC also included a footbed slot for disposable heated insoles—just ‘cause they love you.

ahem....best boot EVER!
Let's say if these boots were a woman, I would....well I have to keep this clean. SUPER STIFF- crazy control on the tightening options, comes with extra foot beds that you put heat pack in (and DC included a pack!). With dual BOA, you can ride them stiff or softer like a park boot (sort of)- best of both worlds. They are lighter than Salomon Malamutes for comparison (= way light!) and much stiffer. Nice features like grip on the back to bind better to bindings, toe gel, air bladders that lock the heel in, and clean style. Size 'em up a 1/2 size boys...I wear 11.5 shoes and a 12 DC boot does me right.


Sorry DC, not a substantial boot.
Sorry to say, that these boots are not all they're cracked up to be like I first believed. True, they are great out of the box, but past 6 days, I had a hole wear through the heel from my binding (my binding!), the boa knob had to be re-glued onto the tounge of the boots with epoxy, and the handle loops on the back started ripping off. All this after 6 days! And no, I didn't drag them behind my car going 60. I'm going back to Salomon Malamutes cause I never had a problem with those bad boys. Plus, the DC allegiance got very soft. Too much tech, not enough attention to quality especially for a stiff boot.


Great boots
These are the best boots I've ever had. Never will I tie my boots again. You can adjust the boots to fit your foot perfectly. Size them up though. I normally wear a 12, but a 13 fits perfectly. You wont be disappointed!!


Can you customization
This boot is worth the money period. I have narrow and bony feet as a result heel lift was a big issue. These boots turn all that into a non-issue. I wish i knew of the DC allegiance sooner. Customization is key here.


super boots
If tried them all and I couldn't find the right boot for me always had cramps… Until now. The first time when weared them, I was scared that I bought them too small After a couple of sessions indoor they felt super and snug from there one it only got better my riding improved like hell. If you can not find the right boot for you and you tried everything then buy these ones. But there some negative remarks (not the boot, DC in general). I am from Belgium and couldn't find the boots in Europe. With the boots there are no spare cables for the Boa system Hope it never brakes. Then sizes. I have Burton (Hails)size 12usa or 46. DC when they arrived I saw that they where smaller in the label. It said 12usa or Europe 45.5 So watch out . But still the boots are the best you can buy.
