Five Ten Spire Climbing Shoe
Brand : Five TenItem : FVT0003
The best-selling climbing shoe on the market, the Five Ten Spire Climbing Shoe is ideal for entry-level climbers seeking a well-constructed, comfortable, general-purpose shoe that will support feet-in-training. New climbers typically need a shoe that is comfortable and gives their weaker feet extra support. The Spire features a rounded toe profile for all-day comfort. The semi-flexed, slip-lasted design offers all-around performance. Five Ten's innovative Stealth® C4 sole will assure you'll stick to the slickest of rock. Keep in mind that leather climbing shoes tend to stretch and you may want to purchase them a half size smaller than your normal shoe size. Most of the stretch will be in the width, although they will stretch a little in length.

Five Ten Spire Climbing Shoe
Great entry level shoe for bigger feet
They're not the most comfortable for cracks, and walkoffs are easier barefoot -- even through alcohol-soaked flaming glass. When going up, the rubber is really sticky, and the toe area generous enough for fat toes. They edge OK, but as any "cover all" shoe, there are better models. They'll smear up any sandstone, glide up granite, and ski straight off serpentine. =0) If you've got big feet and are looking for a great entry-level shoe that will help you get to your grade for a fair price, these will do nicely.
Five Ten Spires
These shoes have very good soles, and are all around very comfortable for climbing shoes. I have found them to be very versatile, having a fairly stiff sole that is also very sticky. They have no difficulties smearing on sandstone, and have proven very effective in climbing crevices. For multipurpose use and comfort I give these shoes 5 out of 5.
Nice Shoes
The spires are awesome all day beginner to intermediate shoes. Buy 1.5 to 2 sizes small. They stretch very easily.
These shoes RAWK
I recently purchased the 5-10 spires and will never get loaner shoes again. These are the best bouldering shoes I have ever worn and grip like mad. It is hard for me to find a shoe that fits tight and comfortably because I have large, wide feet(size 14). These shoes hug my feet and work amazingly!
Good hooks
Nice, comfortable, entry-level shoes. They fit very nicely into crags and well on indoor holds, smear quite nicely and have good wrap around on those little grips on indoor walls. The laces are a tad long but nothing a sharp knife can’t fix.
