Giro G10 MX Helmet
Brand : GiroItem : GIR0036
You're a child of modern times; you value choice, freedom, and versatility. Giro gives you all of that — and a badass design to boot — in the G10 MX Helmet. Utilizing in-mold construction, Giro bonds the EPS liner to the polycarbonate shell creating an ultra-lightweight, durable, hyperventilated brain bucket. It comes equipped with a removable visor for getting gnar in the park, rushing the trees, or hanging it out in the backcountry, but this helmet's core identity remains in the new wide-open freestyle. 14 vents with on-the-fly adjustable control keep your brain at its perfect operating temperature, while the Goggle Notch channel keeps your goggles in place with gapless flush fit. The G10 MX is TuneUps compatible.

Giro G10 MX Helmet
Everything you need
The Giro G10 MX is a nicely weighted helmet. Light enough that you'll barely notice it's there, but heavy enough to take a whack and come back for more. I used to wear a Leedom Scream and the weight difference is incredible along with the comfort of the 3/4 shell. I've added the TuneUpsII kit and that turns it into a pretty sweet sound system as well. The only thing about it is the visor. I like it for crashing through branches and keeping the trees ugly mitts off my goggles and face, but I can see how it would be unnecessary weight for a lot of people. Vents well, but not as warm as my old Leedom, but that's when I was in 0F Maine weather. I've never been cold with the G10 here in Utah.
Giro G10 MX
Awesome helmet. It doesn't even feel like you have a helmet on. It fits well with Oakley A frames. The ventilation controls come in handy. It’s the first and only helmet I will ever buy.
Love my helmet!!
I recently purchased the Giro G10 MX helmet to keep my head warm and safe. I am currently living in Hokkaido, Japan. It can be super cold in the middle of the season and early mornings and then fairly warm at other times. The G10 is great for this with the easy to open/close vents. It is light, and very comfortable and I think it looks good too. Really happy that I bought it and glad that this website has a good international shipping service.
Best helmet I've worn
I purchased the G10 MX Helmet partway through the 2005-2006 season and it is, without a doubt, the best helmet I've worn. I wore a Boeri Axis Pro for about 30 days this season, the Boeri Tactic for about 30, and the G10 MX for about 40, and the Boeri's don't even compare. I am a ski instructor in Winter Park, CO, and my helmet is on my head all day, every day. I have found the G10 to be lighter, cooler, and more comfortable than any of the other helmets I've used.
sweeeeet!
This helmet is super light, but still has held up to the beatings I've given it. (and myself for that matter) I got the tune-ups with mine and those things can bomb! I love the way the visor looks, but it doesn't really block any sun.
