Giro Tune-Ups II and Cellular Link

BUTTERS!
So nice not having my ear buds getting shoved into my brain anymore. Sound on these is great. Wore them on a pow day or two already, got everything nice and wet, including my cell phone, and they were still rockin out. Main thing I was worried about too, these things hold up great when they get wet and the cell phone link is real easy to use. Just press a button when a call is coming in, music will cut out and you just talk through a mic in the volume adjuster, real simple. Def worth the money.

Works great, less hassle than the bluetooth wireless setup
I got the tune ups 2 and bluetooth kit to compare. The pic of the bluetooth on backcounry makes the kit a lot sleeker looking than it really is. Once you get the things on your head they're bulky and ridiculous looking. Plus you have to keep the battery charged. The tune ups 2 kit works great. People can hear me clearly on my cell phone. The music sounds fine and the overall appearance is much better than the much more expensive wireless setup.

Great Sound, Some Phone Issues
The speakers are great. It worked with my phone an LGvx8300 but barely. You could not answer with the control button and it would not ring through to the speakers. So you have to set it up to auto answer, realizing that you will not hear the phone ring and have the opportunity to lower the volume of your music to talk. So I bought an old nokia on ebay and it works like a charm. Now it rings through to the speakers and you can answer, hang up and access voice tags with the control button. Giro was no help in figuring out what phones were compatible and they have no contact info for Skullcandy except for their website which does not allow you to contact the company. All that aside when set up right the system provides awesome sound and easy phone access.

Great
The tune-up II's are dope, son. They have good bass cuz their right up against you're ears, the work great with my verizon lg phone. The only thing is that sometimes the earflaps will fall down on mine, I have the encore helmet, and the "one function" button doesn't work with my phone, but all i have to do is put it on auto answer. These things are great, I definitely recommend them.

Giro Tune Ups II Link
Snowboarding and music make a great combination... listening to your favorite kick-a** rock playlist while riding the snowpark or freeriding down a backcountry powder scenario with the best soundtrack like you're in a real movie is really great! The Giro Tune Ups II with Link technology from Skullcandy offers the best combination of sound quality and mobile phone integration. When a call comes, the sound is mixed with the music and you can keep riding as you talk... The only problem is the volume control on the microphone clip... The dial is very sensitive and accidental volume variations can happen while you ride and ajust the jacket zippers.
