K2 Ultra Helmet
Great helmet
The K2 Ultra has everything you'd want, nothing you don't. It is minimalist, but very comfortable and lightweight. I've had other helmets, including the full-featured Giro Fuse. Yes, the Ultra lacks adjustable vents and other niceties, but honestly, don't you just want a lid you can park on your noggin and forget about? It's warm enough for deep winter, and cool enough for spring skiing. The only gripe I have is that the ear flaps don't give adequate closure around my ears and let a bit of cold air in. Other than that, perfect.
Light weight, comfortable and well ventilated
I found the K2 helmet very comfortable and light enough to be unnoticeable. The reason for four stars rather than five is the ventilation while exceptionally good it is not very adaptable as only the front vents have plugs to close them off. This makes the helmet a little cool on cold windy days, but I find that superior to roasting on normal days. I have the MX visor attachment for the helmet and I am happy with it as well. I would definitely buy the helmet again.
Great Value
I bought the black K2 Ultra Helmet for snowboarding. And, it's comfortable, lightweight, cool-looking, and durable. As a newbie boarder, it's protected my head and is so comfortable that I forget it's on my head. Definitely a great value for the money.
Very comfortable
The best fit and comfort of many helmets I tried. Also, it is much lighter than others. No fancy vents closures, just simple and light.
