The Jil uses the same powder-eating profile as the Jak, but with a women's-specific flex. The Jil also uses a Macrolite Core, making it noticeably lighter than the Karhu Jak, so you can smoke him on the uphill, too. Bonus. A 50mm Titanal Powerband gives extra dampening and power for busting through the crud that you're going to hit sooner or later. A 3Rad sidecut does some really complicated math with splined circles that makes for predictable turn initiation, powerful edge holding and a warp-speed exit from turns. If backcountry snow is your thing, the Jil will take you up to fetch a stash of powder.
