Amazing all around board
I was looking for a board that could handle any and every type of snow condition and I found it. The Phoenix is forgiving in the tip and tail, yet will power through ice and chop at any speed. Surprisingly this board was super light for being a 160. I am a huge believer in all Mervin products. Had a chance to demo some of the Burton pro models, and this board puts them to shame. You are probably getting more tech and quality than any other board out on the market in the same price range. Love the board, you should get one if you get a chance. PS the graphics on Jamie's boards are always sick.


phoenix series rips
a classic and still one of the most responsive boards I've ridden. The sandwich ends are ultra handy when changing minds on tricks and reverting out when necessary, they respond as soon as you think about moving. The all round flex on the board is great too, rigid yet still a lot of fun with flex in the right places. I have found that this board lets me do a lot and feels a heap more controlled than others. A very smooth ride.
