Marmot Tamarack Jacket - Men's

Brand : Marmot
Item : MAR0652

The Marmot Men's Tamarack Jacket features clean, Spartan lines that hide its true identity—a burly, waterproof breathable shell for skiing, hiking, climbing or as a rain jacket for a miniscule price. Marmot's proprietary MemBrain fabric is constructed with a waterproof breathable laminate that simply won't let moisture in and still lets sweaty vapor out. The Tamarack is micro-stitched and fully seam-taped to boot. Don't mistake its no-nonsense design for no-style. Ergonomic lines, low-bulk cuffs, and a zip-off hood mark the Tamarack as distinctly modern. Great for skiing, the Tamarack has a flex powder skirt and underarm zip vents that extend into the body for maximum venting.

Marmot Tamarack Jacket - Men's

Rain, what rain?
I have had this jacket for about year, and approve. I have never gotten wet in it. All the pockets a man could want. The only thing that bothers me is the Velcro on the wrists and when you put your hand in your pocket it catches on the Velcro there...?! It has a huge hood for a helmet. Overall it was a good buy. I bought a medium green and black, i am 5'9" 180 lbs with wide shoulders. Hope this helps.

Marmot Tamarack Shell
Marmot never seems to disapppoint, and this shell is another superior all-weather outdoor multipurpose garmet. It is cut to provide maximum mobility, having used it hiking and biking, and it's kept me dry in some heavy downpours this early winter season. A light zip in lining is also keeping me warm in some freezing temps. I can't wait to use it snowboarding. Convenient and ample pockets to stow plenty of whatever, ipod, flask, smoke, etc. For the price I don't think you can do better. Have fun and enjoy.

review
My jacket was everything adv. I like it. I returned the first one because of color. There was no hassle in the return process. Thanks again.

Valuable
I bought this jacket as an alternative to the cheaper bulkier ski jacket I was currently using. I went up to the summit the next morning wearing this jacket and a fleece bottom. Even with 40 mph winds, 17 degrees, and snow everywhere, I still remained warm. The jacket in no way restricts movement. I am 5'8", 175 pounds, and the jacket fits me perfectly. Without a fleece I was able to walk around town quite comfortably. I highly recomend this jacket to anyone who desires a ligthweight, waterproof, windblocking jacket, for an extremely reasonable price.
