My marmot fall line pants have treated me well. I've taken them to Utah, Jackson Hole, Wy, and all over Cali. They are a fairly good all around pant, but not as waterproof for socked in powder filled back country adventures as I would like. Basically a great pant for the price. Check ya later.

Im a newcomer on the scene of skiing so i have nothing to compare these too, however i *do* fall down. a lot. and for the first time i went home with DRY LEGS. it really is a wonderful feeling. several times i landed on some rocks, but the pants sure don;t reflect that, they seem to be quite sturdy and at least 800 times more water proof than jeans. Fit is comfortable and its nice being able to store 13 clif bars in my pants. i think i could have fit more but that is all i had. So far for skiing and boarding this is proving and excellent pant, and well worth the money.
