Sweet Lid
I used the Micro Dome on a brisk trip through the Sierra this fall. It feels great, warm, lightweight and functional. One note: if you have big hair like I do, this beanie can be a tad small, just covering the tips of your ears1. Overall it’s a sweet beanie for people with smaller heads.


Soft, stretchy and comfortable
The most comfortable beanie I've tried. Lightweight and stretchy so it doesn't hurt your ears when wearing for a long time. Haven't tried it in windy weather below 40 F yet but so far it has performed very well. If wind chill is a serious factor for you, you may want to look at the Micro Dome WindStopper. It's not as comfortable but is definitely warmer.


Lightweight, good coverage.
I really like this hat! It's super lightweight and comfortable. The reason I gave it a 4, however, is because my ears are really sensitive, and I found that the hat just wasn't tight enough to keep them comfortably protected. Maybe it's just me... or maybe it's because I'm a girl and have a pony tail hanging out the back of the hat (keeping it from being tighter), but I end up wearing a headband to cover my ears and then putting the hat over it for extra warmth. It's still a great hat, though. I love it!


Awesome beanie
This is a very warm, very soft beanie. Feels nice on my shaved dome and fits snugly. I've had mine 2 years and it is getting warn thin. I tried on a new one and they cover the ears well but for some reason mine doesn't, I might have an old model or something. Anyway I highly recommend this hat.


lightweight and warm
This hat is lightweight yet nice and warm. Great for cross-country skiing, hiking and/or just wearing around town. Only problem for me with a small head (size=56cm/22inches/7) is that the hat "stick up a little", unless I pull it way down almost over my eyes. I would not wear this hat under my skihelmet... it's much too bulky.
