The burly 2in-wide hook-and-loop front closure is double stitched and features a shear tab to prevent unwanted front separation. A field-replaceable urethane-coated nylon instep strap keeps the Exos firmly in place so you can trudge through the worst of it with total confidence.

These were good gaiters, the soft shell aspect is really nice and allows for a lot of movement. After a day of full use however, the gray 'strips' started coming undone, and if your a style person- that might bug you.
