Outdoor Research Alti Glove

Brand : Outdoor Research
Item : ODR0130

Outdoor Research uses a combination of PrimaLoft and pile fleece insulation to give the Alti Gloves excellent warmth without sacrificing dexterity. By concentrating the PrimaLoft on the back of the hand, Outdoor Research creates a glove that easily hangs onto anything from ice tools to trekking poles. The waterproof breathable Gore-Tex shells keeps every drop of moisture on the outside, and long gauntlets ensure the snow stays out when you're plunging an ice axe. These mountaineering gloves from Outdoor Research also feature removable liners which dry quickly at night.

Outdoor Research Alti Glove

so much money for so little
I bought these gloves thinking they were some of the best. Boy I was wrong. I got them opened the box put them on and I was disappointed. First off they sound like you are wearing a garbage bag. They are really stiff and they would take a long time to break in. I brought them skiing with temps about 5-10 degrees - on the lift I had to wiggle my fingers to stay warm. So i switched to my old forty dollar gloves and my hands were sweating so these gloves are really lacking in the warm department. The liner comes out way to easily and it feels and looks like I bought them from a dollar store. So I sent them back and got Black Diamond guide gloves. Wow what a difference - if your going to buy some expensive gloves get the guides u wont be disappointed.the only thing i like about the alti gloves is the strap right by the wrist - the Black Diamond just uses an elastic band.
