The one-piece, fleece design of the Outdoor Research Men's Saturn Suit makes it ideal for skiers and climbers who need full-body insulation for ridiculously cold weather. Outdoor Research used 150-weight Polartec Power Stretch fleece for excellent insulation and uninhibited mobility. The “Farmer John” design pulls on quickly, and its close fit allows you to wear base layers underneath if needed. The Saturn Suit includes motion fleece ankles which fit easily inside your ski or climbing boots, so you don't get bunched-up material at your ankles.

Another outstanding product from OR
The suit feels good next to your skin, stretches comfortably, and is warm. It does an excellent job of removing sweat away from your skin. The full crotch zipper is a god-send, made practical by its three zippers. I do not wear anything underneath it, and yet the suit has been surprisingly odor-free. Haven't had it long enough to comment on its durability, but I've had good experiences with other OR gears in this regard.

Great Expedition wear...48 hours in the snow on Mt. Whitney and never took it off. Simplifies what you wear in COLD weather. I am 5'7" and needed the Small hemmed 5"...other than that, fit was fine. Highly recommend.


Versatility at a Good Price
This suit works well for area and backcountry skiing. It can also be used for other pursuits such as cold-weather fly fishing. For those of us who don't want to buy separate clothing for each of our passions, the Saturn suit's a good buy.
