These socks are wonderful. I usually am a fan of the Wigwam Ingenius socks, but bought these to trey another brand. Patagonia makes some excellent hiking socks, and these are sure to be some of the best socks you will own. Even after an 18 hour day of hiking, my feet were dry, warm, and comfortable. Definitely the socks to buy for day trips, or even longer.
