Not a bad choice
This ski pole is pretty tough...I've had to bend it back into place quite a few times after pushing a little too hard. (I'm a bigger guy to start with) These poles are a good choice for a beginner because they are very durable, but if you are more advanced I'd check into the carbons.

I adapted this pole for Nordic Blading and it works well with an Exel rubber tip. A bit too flexible for the concrete, though, but does the job well and a bargain for the price.
