These seam-taped boots are constructed with a waterproof bootie and 400g of Thinsulate BQ insulation. The Winter Contagrip sole provides excellent traction to keep you on your feet and has a rubber heel cut for a better fit with snowshoes. A full-grain leather upper and full-wrap rubber rand make the Scrambler tough enough to last through years of use in harsh conditions.

Warm!
These are nice, warm, and comfortable. I recommend these! I went a half size bigger then my regular shoe. The fit is perfect.


OH YEA!
I did a ton of research one day when I had the time and decided on these for multiple reasons; the fit, the warmth, I know and trust the MFG, they are the lightest boots in this class, and are not too bulky. And to top it off, you simply cannot buy from a better store than backcountry.com. They also had the lowest price. You will be pleased with these boots and backcountry.

Very pleased with these boots purchased sight unseen (not even available locally for me to try on). I ordered a half size bigger than my shoes and they fit great. They seem to be well constructed, strong, waterproof, warm and comfortable. Good support for walking. Tried them out for a few days in the Sierra snow. Excellent. The best price also from this site.


Great Boots
Boots worked great. I went hiking in waist deep snow and my feet stayed warm the whole time. Very comfortable, but go with slightly bigger size so you can wear thick socks. Great buy with fast shipping.
