Comfort beyond my expectations
I wore these boots on 2 consecutive hiking days for their maiden wearing. I hiked the 1st day 8 miles & the 2nd 5 miles with no blisters or hot spots on a rocky, steep trail. I am prone to blisters & have suffered despite moleskin, baby powder, sock liners, etc.& never have I worn a boot that I didn't want to tear off my feet at the end of the day- until I wore the Symbio Pro W. I carried a light day pack w/ about 2 liters of water & plan on wearing them for a longer backpacking trip. I highly recommend these boots for tender-footed hikers.

This shoe has a lot of ankle and tongue padding with a flexible sole. Made of fabric, it is lightweight and truly an innovative shoe. I bought it in two sizes and kept the bigger size. I like a boot with a lot of toe space and this one with the flexible fabric, fits the bill. I am not sure whether or not I will take it on a long backpacking trip, but I'm leaning towards it.
