Salomon Ivy Snowboard - Women's
Brand : SalomonItem : SAL0927
The Salomon Women's Ivy Snowboard is the go-to board for team rider Annie Boulanger when she wants the ultimate performance. Using ERA construction, Salomon was able to give the Ivy a soft torsional flex for freestyle maneuverability while maintaining a constant tip-to-tail flex. With an Isocell wood core and P-Tex 4000 sintered base, this ride is very fast and extremely light—making big step ups a breeze. Aggressive park and pipe riders will fall in love with the Ivy after one run, just like all the Salomon women riders have.

Salomon Ivy Snowboard - Women's
Construction
Be wary of the Ivy- I owned last year's model and it delaminated after riding it on the mtn. 6 times. Since most of my boards last me about 100 days on the hill I knew it was faulty construction and sent it in to the manfacturer. After a sorry explanation they returned it to me. My friend owned the same board and it also delaminated but after 10 days on the hill. They however sent her a new deck. I will never purchase another Salomon deck again. EVER.
good and bad
I owned an ivy for about one week, it was an amazing board to ride, I loved her, but, like many others, she de-lamed after one week of riding. Just be careful and pay attention to your base, if you notice any bubbles, it is delaming. It is a good board, but you are taking a risk in buying her... good luck!
Best Board Ever!
I just started riding this years Salomon Ivy and it is one of the BEST boards I have ever be on. Fast from edge to edge, super responsive and floats in the powder. It is a girls dream ride! It is a must for a girl that can ride!
Love the Ivy!
I've owned the 04/05 and the 05/06 Ivy. Never had a problem with it. Sturdy construction. My board stayed in great condition while my other friends' Burton boards' topsheets were peeling off. Thinking about trading my board in for the 06/07. Looks awesome!
Beautiful Board
I have last season's Ivy and it is fantastic! I progressed very quickly on this deck. It carves solid ice into snow cone shavings (trust me, I often ride at night) and slices down black diamond runs so quick I almost always beat the guys to the bottom. By the end of last season I was trying out the half pipe and darting through the trees. If you're looking to up your game out there, this is the board for you.
