Sorel Waterfall Winter Boot - Women's



A pair of great boots.
After a two day break in period, I find myself wearing these boots all the time. I'm a person who wears sandals year round, and now that I live in a location where I can walk to almost any place I need to these boots have proven to be a great investment. They are warm and cozy, a great fit and they keep my feet super dry. The only issue I have with my boots is that I occasionally find that the zippers will be unzipped after a long period of walking.


Pretty good, but chafes a bit
Overall, a good, high quality winter boot - warm and waterproof. They also have pretty good traction. However, part of the inside of the boot (where the materials folds under the zipper) rubs and chafes my leg while I am walking. The first time I wore these, they chafed so much in that one spot that I started bleeding, and I still have a scar there. I try to wear socks that will cover that area, but any kind of sock I wear always ends up falling down when I am walking in these boots.


Not True to Size
I read existing reviews stating that this boot runs true to size. I usually wear either 8 1/2 or 9 and ordered a size 9. I received them very quickly, but was disappointed to find them snug (length not width).

Returned..Did not meet my expectations. Hard to get on; the zipper is on the side so I could not get my foot in.
