Runs a size large
My first impression of the garment was that of softness as I removed it from the packaging material. Smooth on the outside and velvety on the inside. The overall appearance of the "jacket" is attractive/trendy and both simple and functional. Now for the fit, I usually shy away from shopping online. But where would I even begin to find a jacket like this? The jacket runs a size too large. I am 6'3 and thin and the Lg. size fits a tad long in length and is too loose for my likes (technical clothing should be form fitting). I am returning it for a M. Great mid layer "jacket" for everyday fall to spring use. I give it 4 out of 5 stars because of sizing issues and the lack of water resistance (but Smartwool made no claims on it's water repellency).
