Thermic's Powerpack Supermax Boot Warmer Set is a small price to pay for never having to deal with cold feet on the mountain again. Choose from three heat settings that provide up to 18 hours of warmth. The Powerpack attaches to the back of your boot with either the Powerstrap Mounting Adaptors or with Ski Boot Cuff Mounting Adaptors (Adaptors sold separately). If your boot comes pre-wired with a Thermic footbed, simply plug it in, and you're ready to go. If it doesn't, you'll need to purchase the Thermicsole heated insole which replaces your factory footbed. Charge the battery packs overnight with the included Smart Charger with overcharge protection. The whole system is easy-to-use and super low maintenance.

Old technology
I tend to get cold feet and have suffered frostbite on my toes so they are sensitive. These work but a couple of caveats. You have to charge them between 9 and 11 hours. Overcharging can eventually cause problems. I try and remember to plug them in before going to bed but sometimes forget and ski with cold feet. There is no light that tells you when they are fully charged and you have to fully discharge them before charging them again. They make a better option at about $100 more but at at $160 plus $22 for the insole adapter I would expect better technology. One other thing is it is hard to tell what power setting they are on when looking at the back or your boot; 1, 2, or 3. They are so close together and sometimes it will get hit or somthing and switch to 3 and run out in a 2 or 3 hours. Unfortunatly there is only one other brand at a similar price but don't know much about them.
