The Thule Canoe Carrier is a set of 4 bookend style padded cradles that give your canoe's gunwales a soft place to sit. The included set of ratcheting tie downs makes mounting your canoe up quick and painless. The bookend style system gives superb lateral stability to your boat, though for long trips bow and stern lines like the Quick Draw [THU0029] are necessary. If you're loading a canoe by yourself, the Outrigger [THU0020] makes life much more pleasant.

Canoe Carrier
This canoe carrier was exactly what I expected. Thule makes great stuff and this just adds to the list.


Makes canoe trips easier
The shoes not only keep the canoe from shifting, but keep a great reference point for balancing the canoe back on top. The straps that come with the kit are awesome - quick tie down ratchets that work with a single touch. A lot of thought and experience went into the design of this system. If I ever find myself having to tie a boat down the old fashioned way, I'll be sorely disappointed. If you have a canoe, this is money well spent.




Thule Hull-A-Port - 2 cradles
The Hull-A-Ports is a kayak cradle whose design frees up extra space on top of your car for other rack parts, or a second Hull-A-Port, since paddling alone isnt nearly as much fun.

Thule Hydro Glide Saddle - 1 saddle
The Hydro Glide Saddle is Thules alternative to rollers. Unlike rollers, the Hydro Glide has no moving parts to break or jam, just super slick felt pads that let you slide the bow through into the forward saddle.

Thule Set-to-Go - 1 saddle
The Set-to-Gos soft pads can be adjusted to fit any kayak hull with ease. A ratchet strap is included so you dont have to mess around with knots tying your yak down.

Thule Glide & Set - 2 saddles
Thules Glide & Set is a combination of their Set-to-Go [THU0026] and Hydro Glide [THU0025] saddles, along with two ratcheting tie-down straps.
