The North Face Greenland Zip Winter Boot - Women's

Great Waterproof Boot!
This boot does the job on my snowy dog walks over the urban tundra of cement and asphalt. I ordered a half size larger than my true shoe size simply because I wear thicker socks with these boots. I probably could have gone a full size larger because your toes are naturally shifted forward in these. I have no complaints. Before my purchase, I read that they can be a bit stiff when first breaking them in. It just takes time. I walked for two hours with my dog a few weeks ago and my feet were perfectly comfortable.

Comfy and Cute!
These boots are warm, comfy, waterproof and look so cute with jeans and my grey hooded sweater! (I purchased the white and grey boots) I am from Florida and recently moved to Pennsylvania so I had no idea what kind of boots to buy for snow! I tried on the North Face Alta boots (I think that's what they are called?) and they were cute but so uncomfortable. I am very pleased with my purchase and they were pretty true to size. I am a 7.5 most of the time...sometimes an 8. So I bought 7.5 at first then switched for an 8 and they fit much better with thick socks. I must say i am not hiking or anything crazy in these boots but if there is snow on the ground I get excited to put my boots on! FYI...I just found out North face has a jacket within the Greenland Collection that would go perfectly with the boots and it has a cute belt!

I love them!
I love them! Thanks to a previous review, I ordered a 1/2 size larger to compensate for my wool socks - they fit perfectly. I live in Oklahoma, therefore we always get ice with our snow - they did great, except for a little slipping (not bad, but be careful) on icy surfaces - I don't know of any boot that wouldn't slip on ice. They are heavy, but I am used to my hiking boots - it was no big deal to me.

AWESOME!
Any girl looking for a great snow boot but wants one with a some style, get these! The best word for these boots is Awesome! They are a little stiff the first couple times you wear them, but it don't take long to break them in because you want to wear them all the time. I am a huge fan of The North Face and these are by far the best things I have every purchased!

Boots
Love my new North Face boots, however haven't been able to wear them, since Chicago has had some pretty nice weather lately! Overall they are great though, and I would recommend them!
