A rotating toe cord ensures that the snowshoe frame drops when you lift your foot, so that snow sloughs off the frame. This rotation ensures your crampon is free to grip, even if the terrain is uneven, since the frame moves independently of your boots and bindings. The Mountain Series features new puncture- and abrasion-resistant decking on its lightweight, strong aluminum frame.
